I am currently working at the University of Glasgow. My research focuses on 19th century literature, as well as science-fiction. I study apocalyptic literature and film, as well as representations of women and gender relations in sci-fi.

A dix-neuviémiste at heart, my favorite book is Salammbô by Gustave Flaubert. My favorite films are Terry Gilliam's Brazil and Ridley Scott's Alien.
